DPF Cleaning FAQs
Can every DPF be cleaned?+
Most can. If the ash load is too high or the filter is physically damaged, replacement is the only safe option and we will tell you honestly.
Why does my DPF keep blocking?+
Usually short journeys, but faulty EGR valves, injectors or glow plugs are common underlying causes we check for.
Is DPF removal legal?+
Removing a DPF from a road car is not legal for MOT purposes in the UK. We focus on cleaning and correct function.
How long does it take?+
A forced regeneration takes around an hour. A full on-car chemical clean takes two to three hours.
